In a hurry? Maybe you don’t have time to go to the library. Or, maybe you did go to the library and the volume of the reference book you need is not on the shelf where it is supposed to be. Maybe your paper or project is due tomorrow. Maybe it’s 3 a.m. and your biology class project is due TODAY and the library is closed. Before you turn to Google in desperation, the Gale Virtual Reference library is here to help save the day—and maybe help your grade, too.
JSU’s Houston Cole Library subscribes to a number of Gale reference books in science, nursing and medicine that you can access from your laptop in the library, at home, in your dorm, at a wireless hotspot at Starbucks or McDonald’s, anytime, anywhere you have Internet access, 24/7. All you have to do is login, using your student number and last name, to have the library’s electronic databases available for your research needs.

I did not know I traveled to Prattville with a celebrity. My colleague, Harry Nuttall, is the former bass player for the band Un-Reconstructed, which was recognized for music used inThe Last Ditch, a documentary detailing the Battle of Columbus—the final battle of the Civil War, at the 2008 Southern Regional Emmy Awards. Read story on JSU connection here.
